What your monthly donation or one-time gift supports
At You Empower Society (Y.E.S.), we believe that meaningful impact begins with responsible planning and transparent use of resources.
Our programmes support education, skills development, livelihoods, and essential community needs. To help donors and partners understand the resources required, we are developing itemised budgets based on actual expenses, supplier quotations, and documented programme costs.
The following funding needs are being assessed. Verified costs will be published as they become available.

What each contribution supports
Skills Training
Training costs may include trainer remuneration, materials and consumables, equipment use and maintenance, venue expenses, utilities, and assessment or certification costs. Where applicable, trainee stipends will be identified separately.
Sewing Starter Kits
Each kit will include essential tailoring tools such as scissors, measuring tapes, marking tools, and other supplies required for training. Sewing machines will be included only where they are specifically provided to individual trainees.
Jewellery Starter Kits
These kits will include the essential tools and materials required for jewellery-making training, based on the curriculum and the needs of the Y.E.S. Artisan Lab.
Essential Ration Kits
Ration kits will be planned according to household needs and will include an itemised list of food items, quantities, and packaging. Costs will reflect actual procurement and, where applicable, delivery expenses.
Blankets
Blanket specifications and quantities will be determined according to community needs. The budget will account for purchase prices and any applicable transportation or distribution costs.

Every donor who shares a PAN gets a receipt like this by email. After the financial year we also issue Form 10BE, which you need to claim the deduction in your income tax return.

Donation questions
Will I get an 80G receipt?
Yes. Y.E.S. holds provisional approval under Section 80G (URN AAATY8683MF20251, AY 2026-27 to AY 2028-29). Share your PAN and address when you donate and we email an 80G receipt. Form 10BE is issued after the financial year.
Is online payment safe?
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never see or store your card details. You can pay by UPI, debit or credit card, or net banking.
How do I cancel a monthly donation?
Write to info@youempowersociety.org or call +91 98748 73613 and we will cancel it before the next payment. You can also cancel from the link in your Razorpay subscription email.
Can I donate things instead of money?
Yes. We accept books and school supplies, clothes, food items, medical supplies and laptops or tablets. Please call us first so we can tell you what is needed now and arrange drop-off.
Can I donate from outside India?
Not at the moment. Y.E.S. does not hold FCRA registration, so we accept donations from Indian citizens only.
